Wann Ist Nächstes Jahr Karneval 2026

Hallöchen, dear readers! Today, we're diving into a fun little question that's been tickling our curiosity: Wann ist nächstes Jahr Karneval? That's right, we're talking about the next Carnival, the biggest party of the year! So, grab your Rosenmontagszug candy, let's find out together.

First things first: What's the date in 2026?

Alright, let's put on our thinking caps. We know that Karneval always falls on the Thursday before Ash Wednesday, right? So, we need to figure out when Ash Wednesday is in 2026. Now, don't go pulling out your abacus just yet, we've got a little trick for that.

Ash Wednesday is 46 days before Easter. And Easter, well, that's a bit trickier. It's the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. Phew! But don't worry, we don't have to calculate that ourselves. We can just look it up. In 2026, Easter falls on April 5th.

Counting down to Karneval

Now, we subtract those 46 days from Easter to find Ash Wednesday. And then, we subtract one more day to find... drumroll please... Karneval!

So, in 2026, Karneval will be on March 3rd. Mark your calendars, folks! But wait, you might be thinking, "That's a Tuesday, not a Thursday!" Ah, you caught us. We forgot to mention that if Ash Wednesday falls on a Sunday, Karneval is the Saturday before. But if it's any other day, it's the Thursday before. So, in 2026, Karneval will be on March 5th, a Thursday, just as it should be.

But why the unpopular opinion?

You might be wondering why we're so excited about Karneval in 2026 when we haven't even recovered from this year's party. Well, dear readers, we believe that planning for the future is half the fun! And who knows, maybe by 2026, we'll have invented a hangover cure that works overnight. A girl can dream, can't she?

Plus, thinking about Karneval in 2026 gives us something to look forward to. It's like having a secret little party planned in the back of our minds. And isn't that what life's all about? Finding joy in the little things, even if they're a few years away?

Until then, let's keep the party going

So there you have it, folks. Karneval 2026 is on March 5th. Mark it down, tell your friends, and start planning your costumes now. But until then, let's not forget to enjoy the Karnevals that are right around the corner. After all, as the saying goes,

Das Leben ist kein Probefahrten!

(Life isn't a test drive!)

Stay joyful, stay curious, and until next time, keep the party going!
