Tobii Live - Mutti & Friends

Mutti & Friends: The Unlikely Superheroes of My Screen

Alright, folks, gather 'round. I've got a confession to make. I'm not your average tech enthusiast. I'm more like the tech enthusiast's slightly tipsy, loud-mouthed cousin. The one who's always ready with an "unpopular" opinion. So, buckle up, because I'm about to tell you why Tobii Live's Mutti & Friends are the unsung heroes of my screen.

Who are these Mutti & Friends, you ask?

Well, imagine if your computer mouse and keyboard had a family. A quirky, slightly eccentric family that's always ready to lend a helping hand. That's Mutti & Friends for you. They're a suite of assistive tools designed by Tobii, and they're as useful as they are odd.

Meet Mutti, the matriarch

Mutti, or "Mama" in German, is the star of the show. She's a gaze interaction software that lets you control your computer with just your eyes. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, right? But trust me, once you've tried it, you'll be hooked.

Did you know? Mutti can even help you type! Just look at the keys, and she'll do the rest. It's like having a tiny, invisible typist living in your computer.

And then there's the rest of the gang

Mutti's not alone in her quest to make computing a breeze. She's got a whole crew backing her up.

• Gaze Pointing: This little helper turns your gaze into a cursor. It's like having a laser pointer attached to your eyeball. How cool is that?
• Dwell Click: This one's a game-changer. It lets you click on things just by looking at them. No more straining your finger muscles!
• Switch Control: This tool lets you use your gaze to switch between different input methods. It's like having a remote control for your computer. Who needs buttons when you can use your eyes?

Why the love for Mutti & Friends?

You might be wondering why I'm so smitten with these tools. Well, apart from the fact that they're incredibly useful, they've also got a certain je ne sais quoi. They're quirky, they're different, and they make computing fun again.

Plus, they've got a certain underdog charm. While everyone's raving about the latest gaming rig or the newest smartphone, Mutti & Friends are quietly going about their business, making computing accessible to everyone. They're the unsung heroes of the tech world, and I, for one, am a fan.

So, are you ready to join the Mutti & Friends fan club?

I know, I know, it's not as glamorous as being a Apple enthusiast or a Samsung super-fan. But hey, who needs glamour when you've got a family of assistive tools that make computing a breeze? So, come on in, the water's lovely. And who knows, you might just find yourself falling in love with Mutti & Friends, just like I did.
